After my last post, I was expecting yesterday's rejection to follow the new rules in my head, but it was actually pretty much textbook from our original rules.
I interrupted a couple at Hand-in-Hand having dinner and asked if I could try on the woman's hat. It was a lucky pick because according to her partner, she doesn't let anyone, even him, touch her hats. So, obviously, she said "No."
I think the main lesson from this rejection is that if I take the pressure off a little, it's not so bad? Maybe? Or if I just GET OUT, the opportunity will present itself? I don't know. I didn't feel like I was messing with anyone, so ... success for yesterday.
